  • Hey brother, great review.

I actually bought one of these bags. I agree 100% with everything you say. The belt and pockets are useless. I'm 5'10" and you are correct on sizing. This just fits. Design wise the layout is about as perfect for a day pack as I've seen. But the suspension has me sending this one back to REI. I've tried the Osprey Manta 30, and not sure if it is the same size as the T 22. The Manta is small as well. The Gregory Z30 so far is about the most comfortable I've tried.

  • Great reviews !

  • Wow, so you got 2 separate channels on topic that I like.

  • excellent review -- thank you

  • Great views, I love places like this.

  • BUT! You be stylin' The glasses go into the pouch to show that IT CAN be used for that. But then, they gotta come out for THE COOL factor!

  • Careful with that nut-shaped buckle. A lot of reviews of MH's bigger packs complain of those breaking. But for a daypack you probably won't be wrenching on it too bad so you'll probably be ok.

I almost bought a Talon last fall but I found a better deal elsewhere. It seems like a great series of packs. The Gregory Z series also has some solid options. The MH products I own have been excellent so not trying to talk you out of it by any means.

Great review though, and thanks for sharing the views.

  • One of the best views in the entire area.

  • Damn good review.

Wish I lived close by so that I go go hike'n with ya sometime.

    Later...

  • Good review
