  • Very true Shaynapulley! very true! thank you! 8-)

  • Good on you for showing this. Not enough people know about this swine of a condition. I have generalised Dopa-Responsive Dystonia and I recognised some of those symptoms you experienced on the video. Love your positive attitude! Hope your treatment is successful.

  • @jgh548 ....thank you. My attitude is what keeps me going! I have been very icky that my DBS has worked so well for me.

  • What an amazing difference! I am so glad that you had found something that helps and also that you have shared this. God bless!

  • wow, this is amazing!

  • Love your attitude. Thank you for sharing my son has showed signs of dystonia and his turn on an off also. I love how you show you "normal" then w/ your dystonia. My son who is 16 mo is "normal" most of the time but then show dystonia here and there through out the day sometime every other day. Again thank you for spreading Awareness. :) Best of luck to you I hope you have gotten better since.

  • Found it easy to laugh WITH you and not AT you, love your attitude :)

not that I would laugh at people with such severe conditions, since I got one myself.

  • WOW! Unbelievable diff.! PS. your hilarious, made me laugh again! A Canadian eh? Me too :))

  • WOW! What a difference!

  • @shaynapulley I know that! I don't think I would ever do that!! Plus I have three beautiful boys to look after!!

  • Was your dbs painful? I have generalized dystonia, tourretes syndrome, and ocd. I was very unfortunate because I was not a candidate for the surgery. My neourologist said it was because I have spots in the part of my brain called the basil ganglia and I guess that is the part of your brain where they put the electrodes. I am however very happy that your surgery went really well for you!! As for me I think I am just going to hang myself I really don't want to keep living life this way!!!
