"In my honest opinion, this is the best thing Soul Eater has ever given me *points at picture*. What can I say about them?

First, as I mentioned, when they first became friends, I cried with Crona. I didn't forget that Ragnarok was indeed her first friend, even if he picked on her for years. Still, Maka filled the void that Crona never knew she had. She didn't know much about real compassion and trust when her mother Medusa emotionally abused her and treated her like a tool instead of her daughter.

Second, their moments together warm my heart constantly. Crona questioned why anybody, much less Maka, would care for someome like her. Finally having experience on friendship helped wake up one of the sweetest expressions the most depressed character in the show could make. Seeing her smile alone is enough to make my day.

Third, watching all that she's been through, we have to realize that what Crona experienced before Maka is what a sum of people had in their childhood. Abuse, depression, hopelessness and sorrow. With the light of the purest form of love shinning through when you least expect it.

Fourth, without Maka, this couple wouldn't be possible, would it? Maka is a spunky (not in the annoying way), smart and strong girl; even through she tries too hard. Quite a typical main character archetype. Still, she fills what Crona didn't have in her life. Energy and fire to light her way to real happiness.


Long story short, CronaMaka is my official One True Pairing.

If you follow the anime as I do, you would call ceiba a boy as they refer to crona as a 'he' in the English dub. I don't know about the manga though, or the Japanese version, so feel free to correct me here, but I think that crona's a guy.

Im pretty sure that Chrona is in love with Maka, but I think maka is in love with Soul.... Chrona's whole story is heartbreaking
