Tackhead banjo with wormy maple neck and rim with bloodwood accents. Ebony fretboard and tail piece and a maple star inlay at the 5th fret. Peghead overlay is walnut. Peghed mechanical tuners are so smooth and work so well with the 19th Century look of the banjo.
I have to say, this one, for what ever reason, sounds really good - better than most of my tackhead banjos. I wish I knew why.

Beautiful! I love the ebony and bloodwood contrast. Is the pot a thinner diameter than you've made before (not the diameter of the pot, but the thickness of the blocks) That tailpiece design is very elegant as well.
oh, and nice playing too- sounds great.
