It was fun for a bit.... Apart from alucard and richter.. the rest just sucked.. so weak.. and holding start doesnt let you pick the classic character or Belmont.. bah..

holding start and then selecting gives you special outfits. like, for simon it gives you cv4 simon (and one button even gives cv1 simon), for richter it's rondo richter etc.
and i know, al and richter had the best movesets in their games, so everyone else pales in comparison.

Is it just me or is the readme in the Sep20 zip file saying wrong commands for special moves? I still can't get Alucard's teleport slash move to work right.

yeah, the readme there is wrong. read the characters page on the website for updated version.
teleport slash is fwd,fwd+attack.
