The popular "lie" being used by the military, is that if you join, you'll end up with a better life.
I say "lie", because most of the people I know who served didn't benifit at all! They didn't get money for college, the jobs they have suck, and most of them became drug addicts or alcoholics! So how is that better?

Peace is patriotic. Well, not always. The war in Iraq is not as stated in the Constitution (not directly). The Constitution wants peace and wars only in times to protect the country. I'm tired, ignore this comment but I will still post it.

To: epicurean05 You missed the point completely. I was pointing out the fact that you oppose the war because you think it is wrong. Don't you resent having your motive questioned? If so, Why question someone elses. Take a step back for a moment and think about it.

i saw these guys at the parade when i was marching with my unit, they didnt salute the colors when our color guard walked past and that did it for me, if they want peace support our troops so they can mash the fuck out of iraq and mercy that country into peace
