Here's a little video I put together for a little known careerfiel in the Air Force, the SERE Specialists. They are not pararescue jumpers but they save lives everyday by teaching others how to survive anywhere anytime, and return with honor. I hope to join the ranks of these fine people here in the near future.

I'm headed out September 18th, for Navy! If I make my contract job I will be attending SERE-C. Wish me luck, and good luck to the rest of you who are going military! hooyah!

@redgalaxy4 i believe i read on the usaf website that you can get deployed at anytime as it is your duty, but im not positive if it was the usaf website or not.

@jrs225 I'm planning on going into the AF and they showed me the list of the available jobs, and SERE was one, which I wasn't aware of before. It looks like one I'd be interested in, question is, can you still get deployed if you're a sere instructor?

I'm leaving for basic July 21st I'm also doing sere. I guess we will be there at the same man good luck.
