A Great and noble speech . But this is where I feel Qaddafi makes a big mistake . The Muslims and Arabs are EASILY MANIPULATED the CLERICS are ALL BOUGHT by the WEST. Look how easy they were able to get the people in Libya to KILL EACH OTHER for their AMUSEMENT. So to involve himself into a debate with people who SOLE mission is to preach FALSE piety until they get power is absurd . He should stick to NATIONALIST dialogue .

The wahabi rulers wary of spread of shia faith in affrica and Qaddafi pronouncing shia faith instigated U S to take military action so another inimical state to inihilate wahabi state ( the mother state engaged in sectionalising muslim umma in the interest of U S policy goals) could be destroyed. before it becomes a danger for american friends in M E sucking and sharing with U S the blood of its poor population..
