Beware and don't be fooled by this con. It would take more than a week to recharge a bike's batteries enough for maybe 30 min worth of riding and that's if the solar panel was in full sun the entire time! Look at the tiny trickle charge solar panel. It would take a huge array of panels to charge the batteries and would still take 2-6 hours under perfect sunny conditions. You'd need a tracker for the panels to stay oriented toward the sun. A 100% solar bike is impossible unless you charge a week.
