I tried to reduce the 'noise' in the recording as far as digitally possible using my inexpensive gadgets, but with little success. I have learned the hymn though, and I have sung it at the early morning Mass of which I lead the congregation in the worship. I will try to put it through an analogue noise reduction unit before digitally remastering. If its any better, I will put online. Cheers

Oh wow, I wonder if it would be easier for me just to do a re-record...don't want to put you through too much trouble! Maybe you could just email me your accompaniment (if you've already done it) and I can do new vocals for it? I only work on Windows Movie maker XP so nothing too complicated, sorry.

The voice is beautiful and in tune right through the song - not easy for unaccompanied singing - key of D. I heard this about 2 years ago. I have put some keyboard backing on it, although the recording is noisy. Am thinking of putting it on YouTube. Beautiful singing. Thank you
