@stinkygeorgia1 Get a grip StinkyBoy! The Catholic Church is more intelligent and knowledgeable than ANY of your fundy groups put together. You and your groups think you re all that because you're able to make long memorized quotes from the Bible. BAH! I'll bet your a Camping follower, too!

Excellent video, steve, and perfectly on the mark.......as usual!
Bless you for speaking the truth, my brother :)

God is offended by receiving Him on "dirty" hands(ONLY priest can touch Him) in the Holy Eucharist!
Only accepted by Heaven form of receiving living Heart of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist of the Catholic Church is into our mouth and on our both knees!
God bless you and be brave

Hello everyone, if we all take a minute and ask the Holy Spirit to speak to us before we speak to each other we will find that, He will guide us with His divine hand to the truth. And all this hate in the form of "correction" shall be revealed for what it is. Pray that this be so................... Amen

@jotyod How exactly does that make your point? I didn't say he wasn't literally present. Nor did I imply it. I said that his presence in the bread and wine is not the same as having two arms and two legs, etc. His body and blood is present, just not "in like manner" as with two arms, two legs, etc. How you got that out of what I said, frankly, I have no idea.
-
" His presence in the form of bread and wine is in no way in like manner to two arms, two legs, etc."
Thanks for making my point that Jesus' body and blood ' is not literally present in the Eucharist...

@jotyod You should read what you write before you post it. You said yourself that Jesus is supposed to return in like manner. His presence in the form of bread and wine is in no way in like manner to two arms, two legs, etc.
It is also not a daily returning or resacrificing. He is always present. He may have ascended to heaven, but he never truly left us. Pity for those who think he has.
You really should understand our faith before you try to ciriticize it. You just look silly otherwise.
-
Well, Acts 1:11 shows that Jesus ascended visibly into heaven in bodily form. An angel at that time and to some apostles said that Jesus would return in "like manner" The Catholic is taught in his catechism (1374) the opposite! They believe that he returns daily to Catholic altars in the form of a liquid and a wafer. Believed is that the "blood, soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ" is contained in the Eucharist and is resacrificed for sin.

"The wafer that you bow in front of is idolatry"
Christ said he is present and you say worshiping Christ is idolatry. WOW. May Jesus have mercy on your soul. Satan has clearly taken over your senses.

"Unfortunately, Roman Catholics just don't get it."
Are you a joke or simply an idiot. You have no idea what Catholics understand. Do you really think you know what Catholics believe?

Unfortunately, Roman Catholics just don't get it. They see the physical, not the spiritual; due to the lack of knowledge - that is, the lack of the Holy Spirit. So, they are "condemned already" because they have not "believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3: 18) They trust in the works of Rome instead of His work:
“What shall we do....?" Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” (John 6: 28-29)

@stinkygeorgia1 what we do is follow the command of Jesus...."Do this in memory of me" Your judgmental comments reveal your lack of any bible education. Your statement "They see the physical, not the spiritual; due to the lack of knowledge - that is, the lack of the Holy Spirit." shows you don't understand what our Faith is about.... Ask, and we will teach you. Your statement "So, they are "condemned already" because they have not "believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." is wrong

So Jesus was speaking of spiritual matters, not of physical things as Rome suggests - i.e. of the wafer god as being truly Jesus, and the wine, truly His blood. For He told the woman about how the water in the well will make her "thirst again," and to the disciples: "What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?" Therefore, "Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you." (John 6: 27)

@stinkygeorgia1, now you are talking about a different subject. John 6: 53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. As you can see, Jesus commanded this, for "eternal life"... That is our belief. If it is too hard for you to believe.....

The real presence is the Holy Spirit, not a piece of bread formed by man. The wafer that you bow in front of is idolatry.

@stinkygeorgia1 since Jesus commanded that we do this, your remark shows that you don't understand what Jesus said....
