Part One of our Home Movie tour through The Conservators' Center, an animal rescue, conservation and education operation near Mebane, North Carolina. In Part One: Servals, Lemurs, Binturongs, Jungle Cats, Red Foxes, Wolves, Bobcats, Lynx. I'm told that the video contains something never seen before: Archer Binturong climbing up the side of his enclosure, all the way to the top.
This is "just a home movie." It's barely edited from the original camera video. The camera starts and stops based on the shot and the movement of the animal, so the narration by the tour guide, John David, is chopped up. Let's just say that's your incentive to visit in person, if you're close enough. If you love these animals and are coming to visit the area (Greensboro to Raleigh), it's worth a visit. You HAVE to sign up in advance - no self-guided tours, and no walk-ins.
