The Missouri Department of Transportation hosted the 2012 National Work Zone Awareness Week Kickoff event in St. Louis on April 23, 2012. The event took place at the Route 141 Project, an ARRA project. Speakers included Federal Highway Administrator Victor Mendez, Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission Chair Rudy Farber and MoDOT Director Kevin Keith.
