great job man.. it seems that your aquaponic system is still running..do you have any clogging problems? it's difficult to clean the system if the pipe or the growing bed clogs..especially when the roots start to dominate the space..I had one aquaponic system at home and I face the same problem..

Great job looks like a simple system to build but were did u purchase the tilapia I live in puerto Rico and I'm having a tough time finding some live one

May I know how does algae affect the aquaculture as well as the hydroponic growth?

@JasonLivesToEat The algea will use the nutrients from the water; so i place a cover over the pond to prevent sunlight and greatly reduce algea growth. You want to keep the algea down as much as possible.

I like the video, and great work on the aquaponics. I see that you have tilapia fingerlings, and very soon you got population problem. What I did with my system is to introduce a couple of catfish as population control, because catfish would eat the fingerlings.
