Hm, although i like(d, until i found out about fiberreeds) rico reeds, a natural material like cane should be hand faced because everything is different. Thats why oboe players and extremely professional saxophonists and clarinetists make their own reeds, to adjust them to be perfectly the same every time. And you can even make Plasticover reeds yourself by submerging them in a 1/10 shellack/alcohol mix for 5 minutes and then rubbing them down
