This is a lot hrder to do than it looks. I took a class in San Francisco and even the most simple object is quite difficult to do. The idea is "less is more" which is different than Western art. My paintings were over-done & my EAGLE looked like a chicken !

Have you heard of "White is Black"? (voids, negative space or the traped shapes in western art). Chinese art is not realistic nor abstract, the best shape is done while you "forget the shape". Learn all the rules, then forget them. It's same in all arts.
