  • I thought the same. When I went to Rhodes and the other units id ring my parents crying and pleading with them to take me home on the promise I'll eat. Their meals looked innocent compared to the units. However it took me 5 months to gain 3 kgs. If you are given what is meant to be just nutritious you would be an inpatient much longer and also your because you are so underweight when u are admitted its important to give you body its fat cells back. Its either that or the ng.

  • I think it's a bit excessive what they make the kids eat. Instead of having them learn to eat healthy and have healthy lifestyles to help them, they're shoving buttered croissants, heaping bowls full of cereal and everything high in carbs down their throat. I don't think I've seen a single proper meal on this program!

  • People need to stop thinking about anorexics as being vain and blaming the media etc. Anorexics are opting entirely out of their lives. The question that needs asking, is, "Why are so many kids so, so frightened to live?"

  • this just breaks my heart seeing all these young ones with eating disorders. Too much emphasis on what you are suppose to look like these days..whats accepted & whats not..media/mags/ models rah rah. Its in your face 24/7...bloody hell, whats an 8yr old doing reading what percentage of sugar...calories & so forth is on the side of a box!? I realise emotional triggers come into this ...it was never heard while I was growing up....SO what are WE doing to cause this!? So disturbing...........

  • @Carrotqween thank you for being so smart

  • simon is soo fit :) <3 xx

  • @JazzyLour1 Why would you want an eating disorder to get skinnier when you can just eat healthy and exercise or play a sport?

  • @JazzyLour1

You are perfect the way you are. Dont let Ana take control of you like these sufferers have. You've got to fight those voices, ignore there taunts and think, 'Im Perfect In Every Way.' Because you are and so is everyone else with Anorexia, Bulimia, B.E.D and other Eating Disorders.

I hope you can make it through it. Good Luck.

  • esas chingaderas deverian de tirarlas en africa para que sepan lo que es el habre y agradescan a dios lo que comen

  • The worst part is, I'm like normal size for my age, maybe a bit bigger and I can't believe how stupid i am... i feel like i want this disorder to be skinnier... But then... argh! I would never want to be like that... but i want to know how it feels to be like that... But then these kid's don't want the disorder... I have thoughts that tell me i shouldn't eat but I never act on them but then i feel guilty and i hate myself and basically my minds at crossroads...

  • This is terrible, I feel like I can learn from this...... Poor kids.... :( I bet all of them are younger than me....

  • @emilymatt10love im sorry to hear that.:(
