Llangollen Railway 'Timetable C' - Saturday 1st August 2009

My second visit to the Llangollen Railway was on Saturday 1st August with GJDobbzy, jakeyboygen & theonlyadsrulz.

The 7.25mile long railway were running their 'Peak' service which is 'Timetable C' meaning two steam engines would be in action covering three round trips each and a DMU doing a morning and late afternoon round trip, these were -

| GWR 0-6-2T 56xx Class 'Taffy Tank' number 5643
| GWR 0-6-0PT 64xx Class 'Auto Pannier Tank' number 6430
| BR Class 104 2-Car Unit made up of numbers M50454 & M50528

Included in this video are a few scenic & lineside shots, but mainly station action is the theme, the plan GJDobbzy, jakyeboygen & I did -

1030 - Llangollen to Berwyn with the DMU
1110 - Berwyn to Carrog with 5643
1300 - Carrog to Glyndfyrdwy with 6430
1410 - Glyndfyrdwy to Llangollen with 5643
1600 - Llangollen to Carrog with 6430
1700 - Carrog to Llangollen with 6430

An enjoyable day out and I had forgotten since my first visit on Easter Day 2006 how scenic the line is!

Ruabon, then you have to bus it

very nice, glad to see you all went to llangollen, i wish 6430 ran at SSSII for me, she looks lovely. nice shot of the taffy at fisherman's crossing, and of 6430 passing you at Deeside Loop. the closing shots were good aswell, like how the PA system is advertising DOWT while 6430 running round haha

i hope so, that would look good, going to the pdsr in 2 weeks, havnt seen hercules yet.

Thanks Shane, yeah I saw on the site, 5619 is one nice engine, should look good at the BWR, double header with 4247 - tons of power lol
