@ LeeClaxton: I just checked Ubud Hanging Gardens through the internet. I agree with you, that it appears to be a wonderful resort. When we stayed at Ubud we stayed at the Royal Pita Maha Hotel which was absolutely great and the most luxury place I've ever stayed at. You can find a short video about it on my channel. If you ever stay at the Jimbaran area, you might want to stay at the Jamahal Private Spa & Resort. 12 private Villas, 24 guests and an absolutely wonderful staff of 52 people.

We stayed here in 2004 & 2007, and will go back. For us, the hotel/service/surroundings has "it", even after two visits.

spongerobbie, thank you for your comment. I definitely agree with you - this place is just wonderful. The staff is absolutely great and the food is something you can just dream about - very creative chef there. Have a great time when you visit Alila next time!

i think Ubud hanging gardens, and coc shambhala estate are better than this as far as Bali is concerned. However the supreme Indonesia resort would have to be Amanjiwo in Yogjayarta, Java.
