NECINA's President-Daryl Luk come to BeLive! studio room. NECINA, New English Chinese Information & Networking Association, is a non-profit community service organization. Then the YES (Youth Entrepreneurship Service) Program, organized by NECINA and IBM, is a FREE program, for high school(9 grade-12 grade) and undergraduate students to enter the world of real business. From the 10-class program, students learn to work in teams, develop business ideas and participate in a business plan contest. The program will cover Foundation Business, Business Plans, Product Conceptualization, Company Structure, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Public Speaking and Presentation skills. It teachs students how to write business plan, shows students how skills learned can be applied in the real world. Furthermore, students can build a group to participate the business plan competition, and the team winners will have cash scholarship and possible internship opportunities in big firms or corporate.
