@CJEChurchill The first time is hard! My first injection was just a subcutaneous injection with a tiny needle - I can't imagine doing this shot as my first! Good luck! :)

I sooo hope you got your dream by going through this cycle. Just wanted to let you know that I watched your video, gave my own shots (with 25g needle too!), and am now 18 weeks pregnant. It was a much-needed comfort at a time when I was feeling quite alone.

@234lavender Congrats :) This seems so long ago that I did this video - this was a successful cycle (I have another vid for that) but I was a poor responder and got lucky! She is now a spunky 2.5-year-old :) Enjoy every second of your pregnancy and motherhood to come! :)

Getting ready to do this soon. Can you tell me why you pull medication out with one size needle and then inject with a different size? Why can't you use the 25g to do both?

That is how they showed me. I am not sure, but I think sucking it up with a small needle could introduce air (?) but also, the rubber thing could dull it a bit - you want the needle you actually inject with sharp and unused. The 18g needles you pull the oil up with are HUGE - don't forget to change it - I never did this but I've heard of people forgetting. OUCH! :) Good luck!!!

Thank you sooo much for posting this! I am a surrogate and will be going thru this process very soon. My husband is too squimish to do the injections, and I'm just glad i found a video of a brave lady like you to help me thru the process.

@quadruplelatte aw man. My needle is 1 and a half inches long! I did it on Sunday, I just didn't tink about it and did it. But I can't stop thinin about it now and its putting me off. I'll get used to it I think. by the way, I love the soundtrack :o)
