12,000 people in attendance! World of Dance 2011 Los Angeles started off the year with a BANG! One amazing performance after another from some of the best crews on the west coast and around the world battled to be crowned W.O.D. Champions of Los Angeles. The home of the stars provided many celebrity appearances beyond the dance community. Held at the Los Angeles Convention Center with special guest host Nick Cannon the stage was set for a high stakes competition. In the end Hawaiian Islands own "HYPE" took home the ever coveted 1st Place glass encased platinum Jordan Shoe. The event was also hosted by America's Best Dance Crew newest judge Dominic "D-Trix" Sandoval as well as Myron Marten, TK Nguyen and Ricky Cole. Major sponsors include Paul Mitchell, Verizon Wireless, Jordan, Monster Drink, Soy Joy, Scion, MySpace Dance Central, RUREPIN, and the DUB Show.
