yep it was breaking way out passed 3rd reef and pass the outer limits of the kelp beds,,the next day UCSB kids did try tow -in but couldn,t get through the white water

@ihmen Thank you hymen. I love comments like these because that means one less stuck up prick ruining the atmosphere of this beautiful beach. Jalama is for people who seek solitude and beauty. Not to mention the surf and fishing. Its not a luxury resort. Go to fucking huntington with all the other yuppies. If you hate this beach then good riddance!

@sacredjimi wait explain to me how someone could enjoy being pelted by sand going 30mph all day. the other people there didnt look like they were having fun either, I saw people wearing sweatshirts and huddling around campfires most of the day (this was in august by the way, the hottest month of the year). other people tried to go for walks on the beach and were covering their faces because of the wind and sand.

@sacredjimi why was I trying to swim? because its a fucking beach you moron. that's how I found out the water was cold by actually going in it. they should put a disclaimer up saying jalama is shit unless you're a wind surfer. seriously how is jalama a good beach when it has 30mph wind 24/7? I've been to beaches in mexico, Israel, Spain, and Italy. This was by far the worst.

Swear to god this video made me cry.Its short Jalama/Tarantulas/Cliffs - the way I used to have it for days on end. Watch it a few times and you can get an idea of the size. I had this place with maybe twenty other guys, to ourselves MANY summers all tides, camping up there for weeks. I have had enough surf to last two lifetimes and still yet I miss it and my adrenaline rises as soon as I see the electric mist from this spiritual place even from vids. Please post more!
