  • @rillenkarren Yes, the interior shots are at the Alexander Hotel. but I suspect that the Watersons are singing in the room upstairs at Ye Olde Bluebell on Lowgate - there used to be a popular folk-club held there regularly throughout the sixties and early seventies.

  • it's unbelievable that this pub exterior on Ropery Street has not changed at all in 38 years. Although that taxi manoevre is no longer possible ! What a fine building for such fine voices. Are the interior scenes also shot at the Alexandra Hotel ?
