Olivier Grégoire aka Kolombo is a much admired producer. His releases and remixes for labels such as Turbo, Giant Wheel, Modular, Boxer and Robotronic have found huge support and his recent Systematic release alongside Ante Perry, 'Honey Panny' has been ruling the floors and charts for some weeks.

Kolombo first came to the world's attention as one half of Loulou Players, alongside Djerom. Signed to Sharam Jey's 'King Kong' Records, the pair released a number of releases for the label as well as signing music to Alphabet City, Underwater and Definitive and provided superb remixes for John Aquaviva & Madox and Remo ft. Chelonis R. Jones.

Kolombo and Loulou Players (Djerom) today team up on three stunning new original productions. 'Wap Bam' opens with the trusty cowbell, backed by the toughest of kick drums. We are then treated to the devastatingly funky bassline and the scat-like 'Wap bam' vocal. Oldskool electro drum rolls and breakdowns complete what is the finest of openers.

'Pousette A Chat' is a lolloping, acidic workout. Its tom toms are backed by tracks lazy groove, but its the twisted acid and 'Hit It!' vocal sample that will cause most reaction. Remixing 'Pousette A Chat' is the in form young duo Doomwork. Fresh from ruling the Beatport charts with their releases on Neurotraxx and Area Remote, the Italian pair soften the acid line and boost the bass as they create their own groove. Ripping the cowbells and rolling the snares, Doomwork deliver a fantastic rework.

Closing the release Kolombo and Loulou Players drop 'What About'. It's laid back percussive groove is infectious and as the key riff drops we are swept up in yet another smashing groove.

A fantastic EP from the Belgiums and proof, if it were ever needed, that we all love a fine bit of Snatch
