where i live if a child is born alive they have to report it to the authorities which then take over and give that child a chance to live rather the parents want the child or not the hospital will adopt them out if they survive an abortion....it's sad the state has to take control of ones child and make sure it has its rights too....

@trolly27 This is because Americans are very selfish people. They don't have time for babies, or don't care for them they're selfish and don't want to have to deal with the responsibility. To some people, it's another 'STI' to treat and cure.

Hmmm how about we just go ahead and just make it a law that if you're the bilogical mother you can off your child at anytime up to the age of.... oh lets say, 16 at that point they can pretty much head out into the world and fend for themselves until the they are dependant on a care taker (generally speaking) so mommy can kill her baby and say it came from my body so I decide when it's a life. would that make you happy? that way no woman ever has to be inconvenienced by a child.

Now the mother wants to make it rich after she went in there to murder her child and it just didn't die when she wanted it to. What we don't want to see the living thing die, even though it was living in her belly before she asked the butchers to kill it???? Of course this is all wrong, but she should NOT get any money from this as she asked for her child to be murdered. Makes me sick.

In Germany we do everything to help survive a baby born in 5th month with 500 g weight. But in America they kill babies in the 7th month... I can´t understand this!

@CanadianLulz just remember people are not forced to abuse children ..people far too ofter are too selfish to give thier child to someone who wants em, it pulls at thier heart string more then aborting them..(strangely). abortion is ment to be a unpersonal & in this seein her baby disturbed her so much..i dont understand why there are so many unwanted kids.. they have implants that actually last years for birth control. if you can pay for an abortion you can pay for the implant

@trionette i know this is sad and confusing.. i guess she didint expect to have to look her baby in the eyes... maybe thats what made her change her mind, its odd how people fear giving thier child up for adoption because they have to look em in the eyes .. and overcome thier selfishness and give enm up... so i guess abortion makes it easier.. but in this case she not only had to look the baby in the eye, but then she had to watch it die... this situation is too much
