Personally, I prefer this one because it's more dramatic, and I'm a sucker for that kind of thing. xD
I think that the Velvet Underground version is cool but it's not my thing...
But the lyrics are awesome. :3

The vocals in this version are great. But I do like the original better... The drifting in-and-out-of-dissonance better conveys of idea of the mixture of pain and pleasure. It makes me want to vomit in joy.
