The power of High Definition can move you like nothing else. But at high speeds, objects can become blurred and your experience less vivid. 600Hz NeoPDP delivers unrivalled clarity, even at full speed. And its this technology that features in nine of the new VIERA televisions, all of which have Freesat HD built-in. www.panasonic.co.uk/viera

  • @RedCaughtHanded well science says "the human eye cannot differentiat on frame rates above 23fps. however most people will see a difference between video of 120fps and even 24fps. its variable depending on the given person. 300fps is not the same as 300hz lol

  • @jbred00 Yes, I guess, but our eyes can only pick up 300hz / 300fps (which is basically what it means). Better buy a Sony afterall!

Even though more people will have a PlayStation.

  • @MsFlyingBeast hmm, ok i see but its still irelevant as anything past 200hz is invisable to the naked eye (motion wise)

  • @jbred00 Well, that's not completly true. Sony's 200hz lcd is recalculating new frames, while 600hz is breaking frames apart and showing tham 3 times faster, but seperated (for better colors), because led have good colors without any aditional only color improvement. After all they are even more power efficient than plasma is. Now this all depend on what costumers will decide. But keep in mind that this are two totally different technologies, that can't be compared that easy.

  • 600hz my ass it,s just fake, what they actualy dit is overclocking, the pdp and possibly future the lcd, plasma proccesor to increase response time,it also copies existing frames to match 600hz,but simpy does NOT make all sources look smoother,i remember connecting my nes to my 100hz tv ,i sew alot of motion flickering unlike with tv programmes.

  • When watching a blueray movie via HDMI input, a very irritating phosphor lag is visible on NeoPDP 42" set. Especially when viewing a fast moving bright object in front of a dark background.

  • LOL 200hz is enough already...

  • What da hell u talking about 200hz is already invisible for a human so why the hell there is 600hz people are not able to see difference over 200hz, its just 600hz to let people like u buy it, sorry for bad english but whatever
