Agriculture minister William Ruto says he regrets supporting the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) in the 2007 general election. In a move that suggested a widening rift between Ruto and Prime Minister Raila Odinga, the agriculture minister and his tourism counterpart skipped the Mombasa party meeting chaired by the prime minister and instead attended a function together in the north rift.
