  • any human on the earth would suooprt a movie that reflects the facts of the great people who sacrificed to save lives of others. Communist or Nazi, doesn't matter, as long as they are good people. Unfortunately, in democratic Japan today, what we saw are just a bunch of right-wingers who are not even man enough to admit their past wrong doings! No wonder modern Germany wins the heart of the whole world, while modern Japan doesn't even accepted by its neighours! Japanese should think again, why.

  • im confused so that makes him a traitor then... since the nazi and japanese were alliance together... and he was helping the chinese,,,,

hes's a good man.. the best nazi lol

  • This tale reminds me of something Aristotle said that the virtues man is always vitreous no matter what happens to him or in what situation he is cast in; and so it is here: A businessman forms an international committee to save a foreign city from being sacked; in order to save countless lives. But the hero is not rewarded for his kindness and first annoyed by his government and than persecuted by foreign foes; and yet his deed will be remembered and is a fine example for human humanness.

    What did happen in Nanking?

  • Hitler had nothing against Chinese or Japanese people, he never regarded them as inferior races... His political testament states so.

  • "According to historians"? How about according to first-hand witnesses? Including Rabe himself, who ran around the streets with a Swastika Armband breaking up ARMED rape gangs!

  • Chinese government created the history of Nanking Massacre, which based on the Tungchow Mutiny in 1937.

  • The slaughterer Chinese killed them mercilessly; the way of killing and torturing was the same as the way of time-honored custom in China.

  • Definitely, Chinese inhumanity killing ways and means was handed down in Chinese traditionally. In other words, Chinese only could do such a thing cruelly because this was the sort of stunt their ancestor always pulls.
