This is a 2009 Porsche 911, type 997 Mk2. Most people who aren't well acquainted with Porsche won't catch the changes. The 997 Mk1 (2004-2008) had longer lights and signals over the front air intakes as well as different tail lights and exhaust. PDK, along with Launch Control, is new for the 997 Mk2 (2009), along with the LED daytime running lights and turn signals over the larger air intakes. The engine is also all new with direct fuel injection - greater power, better fuel economy.

@iLoicQc PDK and tiptronic are different systems, PDK is a double clutch system which replaces triptronic. As for launch control, other manufacturers such as Lotus have launch controls on manuals and they work with TC and electronic throttle control to limit the wheels spiing and thus getting the fastest launch. Not sure where the fail is but normally best to get your facts straight before flaming people online son.
