  • His name is John Wilson and his orchestra

    the singer is Kim Crisswell

  • @DrJizify What ever he is, he's a very talented man and the show must go on.

  • Fantastic playing, especially from the string section. It really does sound as good as the old movie soundtracks.

  • Vinegate, it's fantastic music. It should be played all the time!! ...Philistine

That woman's nauseating voice belongs to Kim Criswell, one of the finest singers today.

And maryrose1944/ MrDaiseymay, no he isn't married with a family. He bats for the other side...

  • @maryrose1944 YES with family--keep looking.

  • Is he married ?

  • I find that womans voice nauseating.

  • @vinegate All classical music is from 'an earlier era' does that mean we shouldn't listen to it, enjoy it or value it because it is old? This music will live on in the same way that Mozart was considered too modern and new in his time. I have to say you have a very blinkered view of music!

  • Sorry vinegate that you don't see the point. Many of us are FROM that earlier era and enjoy hearing this music revived - with the benefit of today's superior sound and video technology.

As for John Wilson's live performances - they really are something else. and understandably sold out.

Are you suggesting that Bach and Beethoven and the rest should not be played live or recorded ever again? This is just as valid.

  • It`s very skilful, clever and all needs a great amount of talent to do this.

However, and with sincere respect, it is from an earlier era - and I don`t understand the effort and idea to spend so much effort on what already exists - nothing new is happening
