@cicirunner with the time(i wrote the comment a year ago) i learned that sometimes defining our goals isn't the best thing to do. you never know what will happen tomorrow
i keep on running because i like it and i feel alive doing so
whenever you least expect it, it's when the results will appear, as long as you keep on working throughout the season with passion and atittude

@jolteon43 I noticed that you mentioned a runner needs to keep looking for "that goal." What is the goal that made you get back into training?
-
you mixed up fartlek run and speed interval training
-
i did cross country and we would train all summer running long distance and then when school started and the season started we started doing track work to get faster. we also did intervoles for up to 6 miles. 5 minutes hard 1 minute jog!

lol you remind me of yuri from command and conquer

Im not going to dis on you but insanity is a good technique to do. but dont do it all the time. you want to do insanity runs and tell your self you can do it. when you do insanity runs you learn how to stride at a good pace for a race. there is a lot more but im not going to go into it. and by the way treadmils dont work because they push your feet backwords. to be a better runner you must not run on tredmils because you must build the muscle to push off with your feet while doesnt do that.

you're completely right
the best way to be a better runner is keep on running
and if we are pursuiting a goal we have to keep looking for that goal(also the food is really important)
im portuguese and i have restarted my training 1 week ago (i run for about 4 years) i hope to reach my top form in november
thanks for the video

hi yuri, i have been training on long distances recently clocking 10km to 16km training once a week and i have been experiencing pain at the back of my leg at the knee area while i ran.
I believe it could be the inflamation of my popliteal ligament. 1 reason could be because of the way i run due to me being flat footed even though i had worn motion control shoes. All that pounding on the road one sided might have caused it.
Is there a way to strengthen the leg muscles supporting that ligament?

Hey Yuri, thank loads for your videos, i started running, working out and eating healthier thanks to you !!!
right now im running about 3 months, 2-3 times a week, about 3.7Kilometers :) it takes me LOOONNNGG time to do (like 22 minutes) and in the half way i walk about 500 meter fast paste because its VERY hard for me, is this work out reasonable or should i aim for longer distance ? (im running just to burn the belly and to be a healthier person, and i m 67kilos btw)
Yuri, what's your opinion on a program like Start To Run vs. HIIT-programs for helping my condition of being able to run longer and faster?
Any beginner HIIT-programs suggestions or any other suggestions?
Thanks for al the helpfull videos! Been watching them furst thing in the morning! :)

@MrY0shuba I would first and foremost recommend my Treadmill Trainer volume 1 program for beginners.
