it a great pice

teniendo en cuenta que son 360 lineas, vaya calidad de imagen!, que discográfica es ¿ tal vez deutsche grammophon ?

@cazonetta Yeah, I understand what you were saying. It's usually used in terms of chronology, though, not quality. Still, at least you know the word, which is more than I can say about many people I know of!

@90lysander (Merriam-Webster) Penultimate - adj: 1. Next to last. 2. Of or pertaining to a penult. From Latin "paene," almost + ultimate.
I guess I should have said "penultimate *of* duets." In other words, not quite the end-all, be-all of duets but part of a long list of music too great to be ignored (i.e second to the more familiar masterpieces). Hope that sounds clearer anyhow.

Malfitano's voice annoys me terribly. Once you've heard Popp and von Stade in this duet, it's sort of difficult to accept anything else....
-
@cazonetta I don't think you're using the word "penultimate" correctly....

"Perché non trova beltà, virtù, che sia più degna d'un impero" thats how i want to propose to my future husband and have this aria play at our wedding ;)

I guess I'm #13,245th view.
One of the penultimate duets ever.

is it me or anyone else feel this duet very erotic? :D
One of the most gorgeous Mozart duets.

Though I always found this Duet to carry within it a certain overload of fairytale-like emotions, I can't help getting moved by it in a strange way. It really takes me back to the first time I fell in love. Staging might be a bit overdone, but a great interpretation makes it all the better. +5
