Sorry, David Byrne rocks, and no one better to perform this song (besides Paul, of course). Would kill to time travel and go back to watch this performance live.

David's voice, I'll admit, isn't for Paul's songs, BUT, this is a tribute to Paul, he's not saying "Yeah, I'm better" or anything. He's having a good time and singing out and doing this because he appreciates Paul's work. That's all there is to it.

I was at the concert and this was one of the highlights of the show....We had gotten there a little early and managed to catch Paul and his family leaving the party tent before heading into the concert hall....It was amazing to see and greet him! I expected the American Tunes show to be better...but this definitely captured his spirit much better!

David Byrne is probably Paul Simon's closest contemporary in his contribution to American world fusion music. I can't think of a better person to sing this tribute. YEah, Byrne's voice is an acquired taste, but he has mad street cred, so he get's to do what he wants in my book. : )

Great job getting this out quickly - wish quality was better. But you can tell Byrne was great as was the band - great energy. Looks like fun. You were lucky to catch this one.
