This window air-conditioner has a built in handle, which makes it easy to carry and install. You can take it to your summer cottage and back. It was made by General Electric. Sears sold it under the Kenmore brand in the 1970s and '80s.

  • dose it use R12 refrigerant or R22?

  • @xctome I don't know what kind of refrigerant it uses.

  • I bet it was built in China or some foreign country

  • @xadam2dudex This particular a/c dates back to 1977. It was a GE model and I believe that it was made in the USA, at GE's Appliance Park in Louisville, Kentucky. That's where GE made all their appliances.

  • I want one of these. I'm a collector and if you could point me in the direction of an old appliance video let me know. I'm also looking for a specific Sears Coldspot.
