Unreal: Return to Na Pali - (08) UMS Prometheus

After a brief but hectic journey through Na Pali 849 has finally made his way to the UMS Prometheus. However, to make matters worse, the ship has been, for unknown reasons, invaded by Mercenaries; the highly intelligent creatures from the previous journey which our hero fought. Why they're there and for what cause remains unknown.

I don't know why there are Mercenaries inside the UMS Prometheus; maybe they're trying gather equipment from the wrecked ship to use on their own vessel that we saw in the original game? As we remember the Mercenaries crash landed on Na Pali themselves a time ago so they are definitely not a native species to the planet; just a unlucky bunch, as with the humans on both Vortex Rikers and ISV-Kran, that happened to come to close to Na Pali.

It was released in 1999 so that makes it about 10 years old.

I believe thacked by that the prometeus was conquered by mercs in the space, and that actually made the ship fall down. It seems to me i ve seen a log on the ship about a smaal ship that sends SOS and which the prometeus will pick up to help. that SOS was a trap, as the ship was full of mercs.
