Guess he should use different tires. My firebird has 555r rubbers and puts down 450+hp without spinning on a full stall launch in spec drags.

the dakota didn't screw up the launch, he always has terrible launches.

Without making excuses there are are many videos from 2003 to present including that night that aren't posted showing me winning by a landslide. Those should be posted then everyone can decide if me and my truck has what it takes to beat the jeep. And yes I did almost stall taking off trying to avoid spinning. Full boost by 2000 rpm.

@xcitedakota You've beaten tons of trucks out there since youve been racing the Dakota. I am just the first SRT8 Jeep you've come across :-) The new Magnacharger 2.3L TVS is going to be on top of this SRT8 Jeep this summer as well then we'll both see full boost around 2000-2500 RPM's!

In this case the Jeep SRT8 just has the upper hand. There all wheel drive and stock 420hp and 420 torque.

What do you mean he usually screws up on the launch? The Dakota alaways has beat everyone of the line unless he purposely gives someone a head start.

The Dakota didn't screw up the launch. He took of as quickly as he could without spinning his tires. He also had M/T ET street radials on it. The Jeep is just that fast off the line. It was a very good race.
