@InHISWord2 The accipiters (sharp-shinned, cooper's, and goshawk) are the ones that specialize in preying on other birds- an AMAZING feat when you think of it (birds are FAST prey items!)- and they're probably my favorite family of birds. But then I have a strong background in ecology and see natural processes that others consider grotesque/ tragic (such as the death of a songbird or deer) as beautiful. Different perspective, that's all.
