This should have been called, "Selling Global Warming". They call the ice sheets, "living". They say the oceans will rise by 3 feet and people will have to move, "OMG say it ain't so". They estimate that will take 90 years. They make it all sound like the end of the world. All this has happened in the past but now it's "caused by humans". I would say that too if my livelihood debended on subsidies. This is laughable. This wasn't even a credible attempt at selling this crap.

The Department of Energy when Al Gore was in office formed a lot of the LAWS for green energy, smart grid, carbon credits etc. for a reason. After they left office they started companies or were involved with companies that provided the services to energy providers so that they are compliant with the LAW that was created. They are laughing all the way to the bank and we pay for it. LAW is LAW and nothing we can do.

@Squatchmichael Ok.... It's anthropogenic. Does knowing this change anything in the world? The only way anthropogenic warming will be haulted is there has to be an even like extreme rising sea levels (e.g. New York under water, east and west coast communities under water) for the rest of the world and it's leaders to wake up. Until then, the majority doesn't care. screw it, let it happen.

I AM a geophysicist and I can tell you the "theory" isn't a theory. There IS NO debate in the scientific community about whether or not it is caused by people. The FACT is that the Earth is getting warmer, and it anthropogenic. A single cool summer or cold winter doesn't disprove Global warming.
Your opinion is only meaningful if it is informed--that is, if you are basing your attitude using data. You aren't. Do think for yourself, but recognize the limits on your own abilities.

To think that human activity is not having a negative impact on our planet is beyond absurd. Astounding even, that pathetic individuals still try to fight those who want to protect our only home.
