This is the most interesting bit in the WWDC 08 keynote. This was a big missing feature of non-Apple apps.

wow! this guy is a tard! I'm running windows mobile 6.5 and my task manager is flawless! hey iphone users! can you run, and switch to and from more than 1 app at a time? no you can't! I can run as many as I want and not have my phone slow down, and I only have a 289mhz processor(that's half a 3g) and it still can do alot more than steve jobbs can think of, lets see an iphone user text while surfing the web and installing a app. oh wait, YOU CAN'T!!!!

Imagine if you could not have multiple applications open on a Computer. It's true, if I close all applications and leave just one open it's faster because all resources go to that application. I would still like to be able to run multiple applications at once, perhaps downloading while playing a game. I think the iPhone should include this too. Perhaps have a little icons that indicate applications are still running. I disagree that blocking background applications is a good idea.

or a class action. That's a 7 month pure lie. false advertising.
Should have been ready in September. I bought the iphone for this instead of a blackberry, thinking it would ne ready for september. And the worst part is apple's silence. no news update. incredible stuff. I've got a feeling they are gonne put it on only for the next iphone.
