Children can do such a great job training their family dog if they have good supervision and instruction from their parents. Directed play and play with a purpose are far more valuable and appropriate than rough housing.

This video just touches on the basics, there is so much more that can be doen in regards to behaviors' tricks, agility, search, hide n seek behaviors... sky's the limit once you start a training program with your dog and children...

  • This is great! Starting children with training postive at a young age is where it's at. They learn very quickly and it sets the foundation that they don't have to use intimidation and force to get the behaviors they want. It's a valuble life lesson for dealing with other people too! Can't wait to see more!

  • got anything on infants/toddlers and dogs, or pre-infant prep? :)

  • Great video!

  • Good job, everyone! Great message, too!
