What happened to the two red shirt deaths in "And the Children Shall Lead" season 3 episode where Kirk, unwittingly, sends two red shirts to their deaths by spreading their molecules through space via the transporter because on the bridge Sulu, Chekov and Uhura are being mind-controlled to believe the Enterprise is still in an orbit around a planet? That's always been my favorite, unintentionally humorous, red shirt death on the series.

Hard to include that, as it's not on screen. Likewise for several other redshirt deaths only mentioned, not shown. I did include a few where the death does not actually appear on screen, since you see the "moments before" action, which obviously implies a death follows.

Of sorts. Security crew dressed in red, so they were often the victim when we needed to see how much peril the crew was in. In the new "Star Trek" movie there is a clear reference to this cliche. When Kirk and Sulu make a space jump, there is an additional crew member dressed in red. Guess which one doesn't make it?
