  • Wish this guy would put out a Instructional DVD or something.

  • @SteveKarlEdelen thanks a lot steve. will consider putting something together. will publish one shortly here with grappling techniques that will be slow and easy to follow i think. but i highly recommend taking a look at dkiolbas's vids as well.

  • Hey Tom! I used to live in Shaolin with the Monks, and I specialize in rope dart. Nice creativity! Go check out some of my vids. Jiayo!

  • @dkiolbas just left a comment at your place. thanks for stopping by here. and Jia You!!

  • Sorry to put you down, but what you have is a silk, chinese "Meteor Hammer". I have not checked out any of your other videos yet but if they're all done with that weapon, your name should be "ShaolinMeteorHammer". All that aside, it was cool non-the-less.

  • @RopeDart9 no problem ropedart9. And I agree with you. technical, this weapon is more akin to the meteor hammer, though its weighted only at one end. I have it in quotes and call it the 'new rope dart' to use a bit of the old imagery with a new twist. but i realize that may be a bit confusing for some (or misleading). The truth is I like the way it sounded.

  • Very impressive... now light it on fire! If you think that's fun, wait until you try one with a flaming head. The feeling is indescribable.

  • Such a graceful weapon. It sounds strange to say, but it's grace is it's strength. Nice job! I want to learn this now!

  • nice vid mate! nice flow

  • @ShaolinRopeDart Thanks, I will.

  • Dud i love it. Love the corkscrew in the begining (nice flowing video edit btw) and i love your move at 1:10 too.

I would still classify this as rope dart or meteor hammer (same principle)
