Well, the now commonly held concept of love is kind of a new phenomenon. In my opinion, it doesn't even exist.
It's an idealized and unrealistic conglomerate of hundreds of complex emotions, instincts, and drives that interact with one another in completely unpredictable ways. The word "Love" now evokes thousands of images and sentiments you can only buy from Hallmark.
It's become a really charged word.

Do you abstain from using the word Love in your life? Or just accept it as a shortcut for describing a flare-up of those hundreds of overlapping emotions?

Hahah yes! I know. The sound of a nose being blown in my area doesn't bother me at all. But I feel really uptight and self-conscious blowing my nose in public. I always have to race to a bathroom.
