THIS IS NOT A DIY:
This is just a video to show how I made this tool with left over scraps and with the tools i had at my disposal. For those of you that dont have a lathe, im sorry.. buy one.. or make do with what you have.

Many of you know when doing the Energy Suspension bushings, you are required to leave the OEM outer ring. Doing this, your not able to use the standard bushing push/pull system.

We where tired of using the large press to push in the bushings, figured this would be a good time to make a tool.

not a DIY, more of a ... dont pay to have stuff done, diy.

  • So much job for nothing special, I change same thing on my civic sedan lying down with half dropped arm scalpel in my hands and clean all rubber from ring, back in just with hands a some lube, yes, it's hold new bushing stronger ...

  • @FuriousHondaBoy I've done it your way, and ive done it my way. Both work. If you plan on only doing this 1 time, then there is no need to spend $15.00 on materials and 3 hours of time making this tool. But if you have a few buddies that plan on doing this. It defiantly is a cake. to be honest. every time ive used the tool its been to install bushings on a rear disc brake conversion before installing them on a civic. If you dont mind laying on your back more power to you!
