@radports It's bitter... though I've been on at least 5 different decoctions, so the herbs have been bitter, bitter and sour, bitter and semi-sweet, and what I currently have is REALLY bitter. One time I bought my herbs in a shop in Chinatown, since the shop near my parent's home was closed on Sundays, and the man who helped me with my prescription have me three rolls of sour candy. He told me that those candies should ease the aftertaste of the medicine. Hope this helps. :)
