My arrangement of "On The Road Again"...written by Willie Nelson, and is part of the soundtrack to the 1980 movie Honeysuckle Rose.
The photos are of #4449...The Southern Pacific Coast Daylight, which is still used today for excursions. Also #4449 was repainted in red, white, and blue to serve as America's "Freedom Train" during the country's bicentennial. Then after the celebration it returned to it's original colors...which are it's present "Daylight" colors of red, orange, silver, and white. The other engines are the "Southern Pacific Cab Forward." This engine was used to haul primarily freight
over the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The cab was placed at the front of the boiler of the engine...to keep the train crew from suffocating from the smoke when they went through the snow sheds, and tunnels that were numerous along the "High Sierra" route.
I hope that you enjoy my version of this classic Willie Nelson song, and the pictures!!! Please feel free to comment, and to "PLEASE RATE" the video..."THANKS!"

Good rendition of one of my favorite songs. When I left MN I put together a video of some of the places that my Nephew and I went and over laid it with Willie singing the Road Again' I think it turned out good ! !
