Jeff Combs on "Hunter" (1991)

This is a clip from one of my absolute favorite of Jeff's TV appearances on an episode of the popular police drama, "Hunter" from 1991.

Jeff plays Jimmy Wilkens, a troubled young man who drives cross-country to see his love Loreen (Ellen Wheeler), but he has an ulterior motive to rob a bank while he's in town. Meanwhile, Loreen, a mentally unstable young woman has secretly been killing police officers and hiding their badges. The two are a sort of modern day Bonnie and Clyde, always looking for a way to escape their small town lives.

In this episode, Jeff is given a chance to play a wonderfully different role and a romantic leading man! He brings so much to Jimmy and is able to give him such a great intensity and passion. We still feel for him, even though he is the "bad guy."

Although this season of "Hunter" is not yet on DVD, earlier seasons are being released rather regularly, so hopefully, this episode will be available for everyone in the near future!

the old woman from Happy Gilmore and a bunch of other movies was also in The Pit and The Pendulum alongside Jeffrey Combs. they actually shared a few of the best scenes in the movie like when Jeff apologizes to her for not having time to follow procedure and torture her. or when he says we dont do tongues how can they confess if they dont have tongues?!
