@Lazuras64 thats not true, there are jellyfish that get way bigger then that. look up lions mane jellyfish, they are just about the same size as a human

Its basically a giant salp/jellyfish thing. They live in the open ocean, and have seen them before. Not that odd, considering the whole Jellyfish/jelly creature theme that nature has had going on for the open ocean. Still, would not poke.
And people think that they know the world... we know nothing.

it's a colonial organism, made up of thousands of individuals, a pyrosoma. it secretes a gelatinous cover. its like a living city of plankton crichers.
